| This design is adapted from a block in the Major Ringgold Album Quilt, 1847-1850, in the Shelburne Museum Collection. The Ringgold quilt is an excellent example of the elaborate sewing details, expensive fabrics, and variety of patterns used in Baltimore-style album quilts. |
Finished size: appliqué 12¼" by 12¼", pillow top 15" by 15". Kit includes materials for 200 count white muslin pillow top, 48 count off-white muslin lining for quilting, 100% cotton fabric for appliqué, pattern, instructions, quilting needle, and plastic coated transfer paper. Design adapted by Mary Renquist for The Posy Collection.
