Counted Cross Stitch Kit

"The British are coming! The British are coming!" Those were the cries of Paul Revere, one of America's most famous patriots. On April 18, 1775, he rode to Lexington to warn the patriot leaders Samuel Adams and John Hancock of their danger, and to call the Minutemen to arms. From the steeple of Old North Church in Boston, the lights from two lanterns told him the British were coming by sea. His ride inspired Henry Wadsworth Longfellow to write "Paul Revere's Ride," one of the most popular poems in American literature.

Finished size: 11" by 3 ¼" on 18 count Charles Craft fabric. Kit includes Charles Craft material, DMC floss, needle, chart, instructions, and color photograph of finished project. Designed by Barbara Bangser for The Posy Collection.
