Thomas Jefferson's Monticello
Counted Cross Stitch Kit

Few houses in America more accurately reflect the personality of their owners than does Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Its design, construction, and remodeling, for which he determined virtually every detail, extended over forty years, beginning in 1768. The house reflects Jefferson's preference for the classical Palladian style of architecture over the then-popular Georgian style. Today, Monticello is one of America's favorite historical attractions.

Finished size: 11" by 8 ½" on 14 count Charles Craft fabric. Kit includes Charles Craft material, DMC floss, needle, chart, instructions, and color photograph of finished project. Designed by Ceil Humphreys for The Posy Collection.
