West Point Crest
Counted Cross Stitch Kit
The crest of the United States Military Academy features the helmet of Pallas Athena over a Greek sword borne on a shield, surmounted by an eagle with wings displayed, and a scroll bearing the academy motto, "Duty, Honor, Country," and the words, "West Point, MDCCCII, U.S.M.A." The eagle's claws hold 13 arrows, representing the 13 original states, and oak and olive branches, traditional symbols of peace.

Finished size: 7" by 6½" on 14 count Charles Craft fabric. Kit includes Charles Craft material, DMC floss, needle, chart, instructions, and color photograph of finished project. Design by Barbara Bangser for The Posy Collection.
