Kokopelli
Counted Cross Stitch Kit
A prankster, healer, story teller, and bringer of good fortune, Kokopelli is a symbol seen all over the American Southwest. First appearing in rock carvings more than 3,000 years ago, the traveling hunch-backed flute-playing figure is sacred to many Southwestern Native Americans and is the subject of an array of legends and myths. Whatever the specific legend, Kokopelli is an inspiring figure with a passion for life and, even today, is a widely recognized art form.

Finished size: 4½" by 6" on 14 count Charles Craft fabric. Kit includes Charles Craft material, DMC floss, needle, chart, instructions, and color photograph of finished project. Designed by Barbara Bangser for The Posy Collection.
